MOSS SMOOTHIE A patch of moss here and there can give a patio or garden a wonderful, cool, woodsy
touch. But although moss often seems to grow where it's not wanted, cultivating it where
you DO want it can be a little tricky. Here's one technique. Place a patch of moss in your
blender and add equal parts water and buttermilk. Mix the ingredients until they assume
the consistency of thin pancake batter. (You can add more water, if necessary.) Then, pour
the moss mixture in the spots where you want the moss to take hold. You'll need to keep
the areas moist, but the moss bits should regenerate into plants that will root and
thrive. |
